The wait is (almost) over.
After releasing an 8-second album teaser late last week, Foo Fighters have officially announced the release of their long awaited eighth studio album. The record, which is now titled Sonic Highways, will arrive in stores on November 10. Pre-orders are live starting today, so click here and claim your copy of the record. You can view the cover art at the end of this post.
Recorded in eight different cities and featuring eight brand new songs, the latest release from Foo Fighters is one that remains largely shrouded in mystery. Fans know the group traveled to Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles and beyond to record, but less than thirty seconds of new music has been made available up to this point. We expect a single will surface soon, but don’t hold your breath until the band makes an official announcement.
The track listing for Sonic Highways reads as follows:
1. Something From Nothing
2. The Feast and The Famine
3. Congregation
4. What Did I Do?/God As My Witness
5. Outside
6. In The Clear
7. Subterranean
8. I Am A River
We expect a tour announcement will surface in the coming weeks to coincide with the release of Sonic Highways. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
