The Swellers Send Us Off With First Leg Of The ‘Call It A Night Tour’

We first found out that The Swellers‘ were calling it quits through the most understated of announcements possible:

We had our first band practice twelve years ago today. It’s been an amazing run. Booking some farewell shows soon. Thank you.

That was followed with more detailed explanations, most notably Jono Diener’s article for Noisey, but those were just details. As for those farewell shows, we now have the first batch of those.

This first leg is Midwest and East Coast only, but given the tour poster’s very explicit “Part 1,” fans in other parts of the US need not worry. Fans abroad are likely out of luck, but who knows? There’s still hope until we get the very end of the very end. See the tour dates and poster below.
