I Am The Avalanche Premiere “177” Music Video

Brooklyn, NY natives I Am The Avalanche stay true to their hometown when writing songs for their records. It was clearly showcased in their latest albums in Avalanche United and their most recent release, Wolverines.

The band released a video for their newest Brooklyn anthem “177” off Wolverines, which premiered today on USA Today. The music video aptly shows them playing the song at one of their recent shows they played at St. Vitus Bar, which is located in Brooklyn. The song hit home for frontman Vinnie Caruana and this is what he had to say about the significance of the number 177:

“177 is my friends’ address in Brooklyn,” he explains. “They’re one of the few friends in Brooklyn that have a backyard, so that’s where the party spot is.”

You can check out the music video below, after the jump. Also, don’t forget to catch the band at Riot Fest in Chicago and Denver as well as on a fall tour supporting Bayside in October. Dates and locations can be found here.
