Sam Smith has had one hell of a year. The breakout artist has seen his singles rocket on the charts, been performing at festivals around the world, and found himself seated in the cushions of countless award shows. Throughout that rise in fame, Smith and his pals had been filming the moments happen — and now they’ve been compiled for his new “Restart” video.

The In The Lonely Hour cut sees stacked shots of him on his tour bus, playing around behind the scenes, and going to the beach with friends. It’s a grainy re-cap of his ascent. Nothing makes you realize you’ve made it in the industry like seeing the juxtaposition of your CD in a store and a clip of you playing to the masses at a festival. Watch the video below:
