Ben Howard Directs His Own Beautiful Video For “I Forget Where We Were”

Ben Howard released his second full-length record, I Forget Where We Were, just last month, with plenty of time to shoot to the top of several music lovers’ ‘best of’ lists for 2014 – some of ours here at UTG included.

For the title track’s video, Howard decided to get behind the camera and try his hand at a bit of directing, a choice that seems to be unanimously agreed upon as a wise one. The entire album explores some of the most poignant and affecting lyricism of the year, and the visuals for “I Forget Where We Were” complement them beautifully with metaphors that portray the hardships and distances that can come between two people, along with changes that must be made in order to rectify the cold rift. Howard’s directorial debut stars Danny Fox and Tatiana Kartomten.

You can experience Ben Howard’s video for his newest album’s title track below, and purchase a copy of the record yourself via iTunes or Howard’s webstore.

absolutely love this track/his new album. Australian duo, Peking Duk, did a pretty awesome remix of his track Old Pine. Definitely check out the remix/their other tracks, such as High. They are going to blow up this year.
