Plain White T’s Debut New Single, “Pause”

Illinois’ Plain White T’s have long been synonymous with their hit single “Hey There Delilah,” but that may well change after today.

This morning, the five-piece joined forces with Alternative Press to debut an uplifting new track titled “Pause,” and in addition to delivering a positive message, it’s catchy as all hell. Give it a listen below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.

“Pause” is taken from the band’s highly anticipated new album, American Nights, which will hit shelves on March 31, and will act as the group’s first independent release since 2001.

“Our new album, American Nights, really focuses on being present and concentrating on what’s happening now instead of what might happen tomorrow,” frontman Tom Higgenson explained to AP. “This song, ‘Pause,’ is our lead single and it urges the listener to push pause and live in the moment.”

If you dig the outfit’s latest, you can pre-order American Nights here.
