“If you’re going to wear a mask, make sure it’s one of your own face.”
Sprawling, progressive and experimental instrumentation mesh with powerfully emotive vocals in EQO‘s newest single, a track from their forthcoming album, entitled Ananta, that we have the privilege of premiering today here at UTG.
“Persona” is a four-and-a-half-minute rock romp, jam-packed with driving guitar riffs, hypnotizing rhythms and perfectly contrasting, dual male/female vocals. The track brings together the best elements of industrial rock — a la Marilyn Manson — with a punk rock attitude-like delivery. It’s the kind of song that should translate perfectly to a raucously fun live experience.
