UTG PREMIERE: Archabald – “The Philosopher’s Dream”

Today, we’re beyond thrilled to bring you “The Philosopher’s Dream,” a slow-building new single from New Mexico post-rockers Archabald. The track is taken from the outfit’s eclectic new full-length, Relativity, which is set to drop this coming Monday, February 29. Listen in below and let us know what you think in the comments section.

In regards to their latest offering, the band shared:

“‘The Philosopher’s Dream’ was one of the first tracks we wrote for ‘Relativity.’ The song was primarily written and structured by our lead singer, Randy. While a good chunk of the songs were written via file sharing and adding parts from our own homes, ‘The Philosopher’s Dream’ was written with all of us in a room hashing out different parts, so the song is unique in that we “felt it out” as a group instead of composing our parts separately. We love to play ‘TPD’ because of the changing dynamics of mellow verses to a bigger chorus and finally the big anthem build at the end—that’s a lot of fun to do a cheesy, dad-like headbang to.”

Pre-order Relativity here, and keep up with Archabald on Twitter.
