Rihanna is not messing around in new video for “Needed Me”

Early this morning, Rihanna took to Twitter to tease a music video for “Needed Me,” off her newest release, Anti. True to her word, the video has dropped, and it’s no surprise that it’s just as great as Rihanna’s past videos.

NOTE: The video, which you can watch below, is NSFW. You’ve been warned.

Rihanna enlisted Harmony Korine to direct, and the video shares a lot of similar vibes with Korine’s 2013 film Spring Breakers. We get shots of a packed strip club, a lavish oceanside condo, and more than a handful of guns. The cinematography is breathtaking, and the visuals perfectly fit the DJ Mustard-produced track. Through it all, though, Rihanna makes it clear who’s in charge (spoiler alert: it’s her).

Rihanna has been on tour since March in support of Anti, which dropped back in January. The North American leg of the tour wraps up May 18 before moving to Europe starting June 17. Tell us your thoughts on “Needed Me” and if you’re going to a tour date in the comments below.
