It has been well over a year since G-Eazy released new music, but it’s not hard to understand why. 2013 has passed like a whirlwind for the twenty-something California native, with nationwide headlining tours and an opening slot on Lil Wayne‘s summer tour. Now winter is approaching, and with fans hungrier than ever for new material, G has bought himself a bit more time in the studio by releasing a FREE remix EP, titled Must Be Twice.
A play on the title from his 2012 album, Must Be Twice is the first official G-Eazy album to be released. The project was created in collaboration with Christoph Andersson and features five new tracks, including a sequel to his smash hit, “Lady Killers.” You can stream and download the EP below.
I’m not always a fan of remix efforts, but there is something special about Must Be Twice that helps it stand out from the rest. It’s not a remix album for the club or radio, but rather the kind of record you can listen to pretty much anytime and anywhere the urge to listen to G-Eazy may strike.
We do not know when G-Eazy will announce plans for his next album, but we certainly hope it’s sooner than later. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on Must Be Twice.
