“Black Me Out,” the latest single from Against Me!‘s upcoming sixth album, Transgender Dysphoria Blues can be heard after the break. The short and sweet song has been a staple of the band’s live show for almost two years, and the studio version captures all the raw power of their performance. Frontwoman Laura Jane Grace sounds particularly energized when she sings, “I don’t want to see the world that way anymore. I don’t want to feel that weak and insecure.”
Transgender Dysphoria Blues is set to be released on January 21. Preorder a copy of the album from Total Treble, and catch Against Me! on the road this January with The Sidekicks and The Shondes.
