Courtney Love has spent much of 2013 touring on her own and discussing plans for a new solo record, but a photo posted by the often controversial rocker over the weekend seems to tease that a different kind of album may be in the works for 2014.
Taking to Facebook on Saturday night (December 28), Love surprised fans worldwide by sharing a photo of herself and former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson. The image, which you can view below shows the two sharing a warm embrace. The caption reads “And this just happened…. @eric_erlandson @maindepowr @LouiseMensch @xMAdMx 2014 going to be a very interesting year xc.” The social networking handles for fellow Hole member Melissa Auf der Maur and manager Peter Mensch are two of the names included.
The 90s lineup of Hole last shared the stage in 2012, but in the time sense Love and Erlandson have been thought to be at odds with one another. Love even accused Erlands of stealing guitars previously owned by Kurt Cobain earlier this year. We have no official word yet on what the reunion of the two could mean for the future of Hole, but we will continue to bring you additional information as the story develops. For now, comment below and let us know what you would like to see from Hole in 2014.
