Due to an explosion of like-minded acts, over the past few years, the state of Florida has slowly grown into a melodic hardcore hotbed. One group leading the charge is the Gainesville outfit Frameworks, who aptly describe their bombastic, yet surprisingly upbeat sound as “tropical punk.” The four-piece are currently working on their debut LP Loom with the help of Deafheaven producer Jack Shirley, and earlier today, fans were given their very first look at the record. You can stream “Loom,” the first track to be released from the album of the same name, following the jump.
If you like what you hear, Loom drops April 29 via Topshelf Records.
