WATCH: FKA Twigs’ New Video for “Pendulum”

FKA Twigs put out one of the more critically acclaimed albums of 2014. Regardless of how you felt about the album, you can’t deny her ability to soothe listeners with her cautious, yet profound vocals.

Recently, she has released a new video for one of my favorite songs on LP1, “Pendulum.” And it’s weird.

All throughout the video, she is suspended and hung via these vine-like bounds as she relaxes and mesmerizes us with her voice. And then periodically, there is a trippy, plasma blob that she dances in or is tied up by her hair to, just a bunch of events that make you look twice. But it still fits perfectly with the vibe and feel that you have seen in her other videos/songs, like “Two Weeks“.

You should check it out after the jump, and let us know what you think.

LP1 is out now.
