If there’s one thing Blink-182 can’t tell us, it is when their long awaited new album will be released. First it was rumored to be earlier this year, then this Summer, then it was 2012, and now, according to Travis Barker, Summer 2011 is once again the goal. In a recent conversation with Billboard, drummer Travis Barker said that the pop-punk trio are “halfway through” recording the new effort and would love to see a release this Summer to coincide with their upcoming UK tour.
“I believe we’re planning on turning it in in July and out hopefully in the summer,” said Barker. “I think a summer tour and summer album would be nice.”
We at UTG completely agree, but we aren’t holding our breath.
