Jimmy Eat World have had a long career and a quiet year. They’ve hinted at their still untitled upcoming album, giving away hints that it would be released in the first half of 2013 and that they would be recording some cover songs. On their Twitter account, they have said they are in the process of mixing the album, and are “almost done“. James Brown (no, not that one) is mixing the album.
The turn around after an album is done mixing is usually three months or ninety days, so I would guess this album is coming around March or April – but that’s all my inferring, not something they’ve said. You can read the band’s actually words here after the break.
What’s going on out there? We’re almost done mixing our 8th album. That’s what’s going on over here. Can’t wait to show y’all the new tunes.
