The National have been around for over a decade, and have been heralded for their indie rock staying power and solid songwriting. With their new album, Trouble Will Find Me, they’ve now gotten the “Colbert Bump”; that is, they’ve made an appearance on The Colbert Report that will likely increase album sales. On the show, singer Matt Berninger did an interview, and the band played both “Graceless” and “Sea Of Love.”
Trouble Will Find Me came out on this past Tuesday, so we’ll see how much work the bump does. To watch the interview or live performances, stick around after the break.
