Slayer cancel UK and European tour
Veteran metal band pull all of their re-scheduled shows
Slayer have been forced to cancel their forthcoming UK and European tour.
The gigs were re-scheduled in November after bassist Tom Araya was suffering with back problems. He is still struggling to recover so the band have pulled their upcoming shows.
“Tom [Araya] gave various medical treatments more than a fair shot, but they just haven’t handled the problem,” the band’s manager Rick Sales told Blabbermouth.net. “So he’s biting the bullet and is scheduled for back surgery at the end of this month.”
Booking agents for the band are working on rescheduling the tour dates.
