Earlier today Glass Cloud announced a new EP, the release date, and released the very first single. The EP is titled Perfect War Forever, and it will hit stores October 22 via Equal Vision Records. Pre-orders are up for it already as well, and you can grab a copy of the EP here. Their first single is titled “Trapped Like Rats,” and you can stream it below the jump.
“Trapped Like Rats” definitely shows a heavier, grungier side of the band. While the group had a fair amount of clean vocals on Royal Thousand, this track features no clean vocals whatsoever. I’m not sure how I feel about the slight change in vocal style, what are your thoughts?
