Here’s your daily dose of feeling old: Dane Cook’s breakout comedy album, Harmful If Swallowed, hits the decade mark this month. That’s right, ten damn years.
You can say what you want about the way Dane Cook’s comedy career has been in a state of paralysis as of late, but ten years ago he was the comedian to beat. Having risen through the ranks of the Boston comedy scene, Cook took America by storm with his unique storytelling and over-active imagination. Now Comedy Central wants to celebrate the album crossing the decade mark, and on November 25 a limited edition vinyl release of Harmful If Swallowed will be made available. The pressing is limited to 1000 copies, so if you want to ensure you have one to call your own you may want to pre-order now.
We know some of you may find it hard to recall what Dane’s comedy presence was like 10 years ago, so we dug around and found a complete stream of Harmful Is Swallowed that was already streaming online. Click below to revisit Cook’s debut, then comment and let us know if you plan on adding the vinyl to your personal comedy collection.
