Eminem to appear in new Adam Sandler flick

It’s been seven years since we’ve seen him in “8 Mile,” but Detroit rapper Eminem will finally take the big screen by storm again in Judd Apatow’s newest comedy “Funny People.”

The director told MTV.com’s movie blog about the cameo and what it was like working with the artist.

“I was scared to pitch jokes to him, then I realized his songs are as nasty as anything that has ever been spoken. There is no way to offend him,” Apatow said of Marshall Mathers.

So far, there’s no more information available about what kind of role Eminem will play in the film, but a movie photo shows him sitting across from Sandler at a restaurant table, seemingly lending an ear — perhaps in a friend role?

The picture, which is about a dying comedian, looks a little more serious than the usual Apatow flicks like “40-Year-Old Virgin,” and “Knocked Up”.
