Lady Gaga unveils Pop-Electro Opera

Exactly two weeks after Lady Gaga and Kanye West’s Fame Kills Tour was canceled, The Fame singer has revealed the dates for her solo jaunt, called The Monster Ball Tour. “The Haus of Gaga had been designing ‘The Monster Ball’ for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, ‘The Monster Ball’ will begin on November 27 in Montreal,” Gaga wrote on her official Website. ” ‘The Monster Ball’ is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera.’ ”

The 22-date trek finds Gaga performing at much smaller, more intimate venues than those that were booked for the Fame Kills Tour. For example, instead of performing at Uniondale, New York’s Nassau Coliseum, the Monster Ball Tour will wrap up with Gaga performing two hometown shows at Radio City Music Hall. Gaga has been a staple at New York’s more famous theaters in recent months, performing at Radio City during the VMAs and then Carnegie Hall for the all-star An Evening with Gavin Friday & Friends benefit concert.

“A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show. You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along,” Gaga writes. “Dress accordingly.”
