Coheed and Cambria Postpones Remainder of Tour Due To Illness

Coheed and Cambria

Due to some minor swelling in his throat, Coheed and Cambria vocalist Claudio Sanchez and the rest of the band have deemed it best to call off the remainder of their fall tour. The shows missed will be rescheduled, but no time has yet been determined.

Here is a blog entry from Claudio explaining the situation:

Hey everybody – I am truly devastated to tell you that I cannot perform tonight in St Louis and that we will be postponing all headline shows this week until after thanksgiving. After holding off last night, we felt confident I’d be good to go today, but I have spent all morning in a doctor’s office here in St Louis where they did a full evaluation on my throat just now and found some swelling that could possibly cause some long term damage if i continue without rest.  I am flying back to NY tonight to see my normal doctor and get fully on the mend.  I know this is a big disappointment, especially for those of you in St Louis – it really hurts us to do this, but it’s what we have to do.

We look forward to the rescheduled dates and hope you can understand the reasons for postponing.

-Claudio

Rescheduled dates are as follows:

11/29 Kansas City– Midland Theatre

11/30 OKC – Diamond Ballroom

12/2 St Louis- Pops Nightclub

12/3 Springfield – Gillioz Theatre

12/4 Nashville – Marathon Music Works

Original tickets will be honored at rescheduled shows. We’ll keep you updated.
