Big Boi Sets Release Date For New Album

OutKast’s second half, Big Boi has set the release date for his new album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.

The album is the follow up to Big Boi’s 2010 effort, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, and will be released everywhere on December 11 through Def Jam Records.

His new single, “Mama Told Me” featuring ex-Destiny’s Child super star and Grammy award winner, Kelly Rowland, is “a slippery piece of ’80s funk pastiche” according to Stereogum.

Although it’s not clear whether or not they’ll appear on Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, Big Boi also released two new singles earlier this year called “She Said Okay” featuring Theophilus London and “Gossip” featuring UGK and Big K.R.I.T.

Stream “Mama Told Me” featuring Kelly Rowland in the video below and download it on iTunes here. “She Said Okay” can also be downloaded on iTunes or Amazon.
