Guitarist Steph Carter Leaves Gallows, Band To Continue As A Four Piece

Gallows

The lineup of UK-based punk act Gallows continues to fluctuate. According to a statement released by the group, guitarist and vocalist Steph Carter has left the band to pursue outside projects.

Steph has left Gallows and we wish him the best of luck with his future projects. We will be moving on as a four piece like the early days. First stop Australia.

Carter had been with the band since 2006, having appeared on each release from the group since their debut album Orchestra of Wolves. Steph isn’t the first member of the Carter family to part ways with Gallows. In 2011, founding member and lead vocalist Frank Carter left the group, citing, “different ideas regarding the sound of Gallows going forward”. Frank would later resurface with Pure Love, a duo consisting of Carter and Hope Conspiracy guitarist Jim Carrol with a more hard rock driven sound.
