While some of us here at UTG recognize that reporting on the EDM genre’s emergence to mainstream America might be a little overdone by now in 2013, Porter Robinson‘s recent documentary shows us that there is still quite an impressive story to tell.
This past summer, Robinson embarked on a 30+ day headlining North American tour with the likes of The M Machine and Mat Zo that sold out many locations with capacities reaching the thousands. Not bad for a 19 year old, right? The documentary, simply titled The Language Tour 2012 Mini Documentary, clocks in at 20 minutes and chronicles much of the work put towards the tour and Robinson’s bus lounge collaborations with Zo which eventually became their latest single turned into full remix EP, “Easy.”
