UTG VIDEO PREMIERE: Strawberry Girls – “Negro Spiritual” (Live In Studio)

Strawberry Girls

Strawberry Girls have been one of our favorite bands for some time, well before they signed to Tragic Hero Records. The self-described “groove rock” band has the physical release of their debut full length album, French Ghetto, coming up on October 1. In anticipation, they’ve filmed a live video of one of the deepest jams from the album, “Negro Spiritual,” that we’re happy to premiere here on Under The Gun Review.

The instrumental band is also on tour with Las Vegas post-hardcore band Stolas. Check out the tour dates and the video after the break. “Negro Spiritual” is one of the best grooves they have; if you’re interested in pre-ordering the album, do so here.

I finished school with a music theory degree. Before I finished school, I was a janitor. You really should apologize to all the janitors you've ever had. You hurt them. Seriously. You did.

But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.
