UTG TV: Strife Believe Hardcore Youth Will “Carry The Torch”

Under The Gun told you when we’d posted Strife’s newest music video that we’d be talking to them soon. When we caught up with the band at Revolution in Amityville, NY, we were able to take some live footage and sit down with vocalist Rick Rodney for quite some time.

If you haven’t seen the video, check it out. The song is off the band’s 2012 release, Witness A Rebirth, and it is awesome.

In our interview with Rick, we discuss the state of hardcore music and how it’s up to the youth of hardcore to “Carry The Torch,” appropriately. In addition, we talk about how East Coast versus West Coast hardcore differs and why the band has taken some time between records.
