Manchester Orchestra has been teasing something a while now, but if you’re getting impatient for that reveal, a new song from the Georgia band should do a fine job holding you over.

“After the Scripture,” which is streaming over at Fuse is a quiet number, with only sparse guitar lines accompanying vocalist Andy Hull’s aching melody. Hull is a great storyteller regardless of the medium, and this track should get fans even more excited for the upcoming Manchester Orchestra record.

The song comes from the soundtrack to Dallas Buyers Club, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto and is receiving stellar reviews from critics. The soundtrack is shaping up to be one of the best of the year as well, with new songs from Tegan & Sara, The Airborne Toxic Event, My Morning Jacket, and many more.
