LYGER Make An Impressive Debut With “Stroke”

If you want to be ahead of the curve on the next big band in the rock ranks, look no further than London’s own LYGER. The three-piece have welcomed themselves to the party unannounced and as their new song states fittingly, “There’s no need to hide from them, they’re already here.”

“Stroke,” premiering at DIY, is the first single to debut from these soon-to-be chart-toppers and it wastes no time in making it clear that LYGER are a fantastic fuzz-rock force to be reckoned with. They’re certainly giving Grohl a run for his money but based on his reach and workload, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get involved with these guys in some way, somewhere down the line.

LYGER haven’t even broken 1,000 “likes” on their Facebook yet. Yeah, they’re that new. Hence why this inaugural track is so impressive. They’re set to play their debut show in London at the Old Blue Last on December 4.
