The French metalcore act The Betrayer’s Judgment recently released a new music video for their song “Broken Mirrors,” which can be viewed at the bottom of this post, following the jump.
The track comes from the group’s latest EP, Philosopher, which dropped this past August through Twin Peak Records. This most recent effort, which contains five new songs and one remix, serves as a follow-up to the outfit’s debut full-length, Run Out Of Fuel, which was released in 2011, and for the most part overlooked here in the states.
Throughout “Broken Mirrors,” catchy melodies and cinematic violin accompaniment pave the way for bone-crunching breakdowns and relentless, chugging riffs, all of which will likely be happily eaten up by fans of the genre. Give it a listen, and if you like what you hear, you can download Philosopher for free on the band’s bandcamp now.
