Broken Bells Announce 2014 North American Tour Dates

If you haven’t noticed, we’re extremely excited for Broken Bells’ new album in January. The experimental rock duo consisting of The Shins’ frontman, James Mercer, and polymath extraordinaire, Danger Mouse, can seemingly do no wrong. We had zero concerns about whether or not they’d deliver on their follow-up to their 2010 debut, and so far we were right to not worry. “Holding On For Life” and the short film that precedes it were both everything we wanted and upped our anticipation for After The Disco.

Until the album’s January 14 drop date, the band will likely be practicing their live set for an upcoming tour starting in February that will be in support of the new release. Beginning in Minneapolis on February 28, Broken Bells will be joined by dream-pop trio Au Revoir Simone for at least 10 stops around the US and Canada with a strong SXSW possibility. More dates are expected to be added in the near future. You can check out the currently announced dates after the jump.

Broken Bells have just put up a vinyl pre-order for After The Disco which you can purchase via Amazon. No pressing info is currently available, but if wax isn’t your thing, you can pre-order the album via iTunes where you can also view the album’s tracklist.
