Are you ready to see Sleigh Bells‘ noise machine Derek Miller angst it up on an acoustic guitar? Yeah, it’s a weird sight, but last night Sleigh Bells took over the Late Show with David Letterman to play “Young Legends” off 2013’s Bitter Rivals.

Sleigh Bells tugged a whole horn section onstage with them to pump up the peppy track with extra pop a la CAKE. If you liked what you hear, go ahead and purchase the album on Mom + Pop. It’s got significantly less crunchy noise than their last album, instead opting for melodic candy-coated guitar parts and vocals. If anything, it shows they aren’t stuck in a muddy, grungy rut.
