Slither This Way: Aerosmith and Slash Announce Summer Tour

With Motley Crue announcing their final tour (with Alice Cooper opening, no less) and Kiss and Def Leppard hitting the road together, this was already looking like a banner summer for classic rock extravaganzas. But business has once again picked up, my friends.

Aerosmith has announced the ‘Let Rock Rule’ tour, which will hit North American arenas and amphitheaters beginning on July 10 in New York, with Slash featuring Miles Kennedy and the Conspirators serving as support on all dates.

Given there are at least 3 days between each show, look for Slash to fill in those off-dates with club gigs, and that’s really where Slash and Miles are at their best — delivering a loud, sweaty, kick-ass two-hour rock show, perfect for throwing back a few beers with your Dad. Slash and Miles are currently working on their second full album together, tentatively scheduled for a September release. The full list of Aerosmith/Slash tour dates can be seen below.
