The Black Keys Share New Single “Turn Blue”

Those two dudes who seem to have their hand in everything are back to release material as The Black Keys again. After several years’ worth of producing and promoting, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney announced their new album, Turn Blue, would be released on May 13, closing the longest gap between albums they’ve ever had in the span of their career. Today, the band has shared the title track.

“Turn Blue” is the second single released off the album and sounds more produced and in line with Portugal. the Man than their earlier rock, but it’s still got the blues riffs that keep everyone coming back for more. Unlike the first single “Fever,” which featured some steady bass and synth, this one spaces things out with a sultry R&B undertone.
