Oxford indie rock group Glass Animals have yet to miss the mark with their music videos. Their playful pop could pair well with any sort of image, so instead of sticking with the classic format, they’ve shown they’re not afraid from venturing through all mediums.
In their newest video for “Pools,” we dive deep into the underwater world of claymation. Unlike their creepy “Gooey” video, “Pools” keeps things bright all while keeping a darker shadow on its edges. Let your imagination break while creatures morph their shape, face, and entire being throughout different worlds.
Best of all, Glass Animals is just getting started. Their debut album, ZABA, comes out June 9. If this is just the beginning of their brilliant oddities, then we’re more than ready to keep writing about them for years to come.
