Folk punk duo-turned-five-piece-band Andrew Jackson Jihad dropped their excellent new album Christmas Island earlier this month on SideOneDummy Records and we’ve been listening to it pretty consistently over here. When John Congleton produces anything, it pretty much turns to gold, especially when he’s working with talent such as these dudes.

To promote the release, they’ve dropped a new music video for “Coffin Dance” which is premiering over at Filter Magazine. Directed by skateboarding collective Pyramid Country, the “Coffin Dance” video follows a man’s odd journey while traveling in the comfort of his coffin. Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart’s vocals are a bit more prominent in the video, helping give life to the soft, spooky sound of a song becoming even moreso thanks to VHS-like filming.
