Listen to Little Daylight’s New Single “My Life”

Electro-pop isn’t a new sound, but it’s certainly hard to make your own new style within it. We’ve got our eyes on Little Daylight, the Brooklyn pop trio who are slowly rolling out hits and remixes that can easily be pinned to the band’s name. We interviewed them back in June of last year, and now they’re gearing up for a full-length release in two weeks, a short tour, and the release of their newest single, “My Life.”

“My Life” has synths that hit like CHVRCHES’ and its sticky percussion grabs a hold of its sharp hook for what becomes a giddy, simple dance that we can’t help but become a part of. It verges on the edge of being somewhat childish, but, much like the aforementioned Scottish band, is mature enough to avoid any of that gimmicky sweetness. Their debut full-length, Hello Memory, comes out July 15.
