Boston indie rock group Speedy Ortiz were one of several bands listed on Adult Swim’s Summer Singles series for this year, joining the list alongside Wye Oak, The Field, Miguel, Run the Jewels, Dan Deacon, and more. Today we get to hear their contribution to the series, “Bigger Party.”

Keeping in line with the grunge pop of 2013’s Major Arcana and this year’s Real Hair EP, Speedy Ortiz serve up a joyful slew of alt-rock riffs and and power chords that, much like before, keep you smiling with snark. With a chorus like “I’m sorry for the time I made out with all your friends / I’m really a shithead,” how could you not?
