Required Listening: Florida Georgia Line – “Anything Goes”

“Alabama on the boombox, Baby. Bout to get a little boondocks crazy…”

Country megastars Florida Georgia Line have released the title track from their highly-anticipated new album in advance of the record’s October 14 release.

Anything Goes” was originally teased at the beginning of September when videos of Florida Georgia Line performing the song in concert began to appear online. The group responded to the videos by sharing a quick snippet of the song, which has since become one of the most read posts of the month on UTG. Today, just a week after releasing the promotional track “Sun Daze,” the members of Florida Georgia Line have shared the title track, in full, with everyone who pre-ordered their new album. You can stream the track below:

If you ask me, this is classic Florida Georgia Line. The verses paint a picture that resembles an idyllic night with beautiful women, good tunes, and your closest friends. You might drink a little too much or say something you later regret, but in the moment life feels like it could not possibly get any better. It helps that Alabama is on the radio, of course. If you don’t have a good time every time “Mountain Music” plays you may not have a soul. It’s that simple.

Florida Georgia Line will release their new album, Anything Goes, on October 14. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the title track.
