A few weeks back, Set Your Goals’ vocalist Matt Wilson took to social media to update fans as to the uncertain future of the beloved pop punk outfit. In doing so, the frontman additionally alerted followers to his latest undertaking, Chains.
“I have always had ideas that wouldn’t quite work for SYG; either the lyrics were too dark or the parts were too aggressive. Chains is an outlet for that,” Wilson explained via Facebook, adding that his current project is more in line with the music he grew up listening to.
Now, a week ahead of their first live performance, Chains have begun streaming their debut EP, The Sorrow, The Sadness, in full. Check it out by following the jump below, and share your thoughts with us in the replies.
