Stream Mew’s Sixth Full-Length Album, ‘+-‘

Following the release of two promising singles, the Danish prog-rockers of Mew have begun streaming their highly anticipated new album, +-, in full. Experience it for yourself here, via NPR.

The band’s latest undertaking is their first in five years, following 2009’s critically acclaimed No More Stories… It was recorded in Copenhagen with producer Michael Beinhorn (Ozzy Osbourne, Hole) and features a special guest appearance from Bloc Party’s Russel Lissack.

“Some of it is a bit rockier than the last one, but there are also songs that go even further towards a more produced sound than No More Stories… did,” frontman Jonas Bjeree explained in a recent interview with DIY Magazine. “We played around with sampler a good deal, recording all kinds of flutes and horns then slowing them down—that sort of thing—more than we’ve done before.”

If you dig the trio’s newest full-length, sound off in the replies.
