Parkway Drive Release “Bottom Feeder”

Parkway Drive have offered up another new single off their fifth full-length studio album, Ire, which is set to arrive on September 25 through Epitaph Records.

Titled “Bottom Feeder,” the Aussie outfit’s newest bone-crusher falls perfectly in line with their latest batch of releases, boasting more mainstream nuance than the group’s previous body of work. Still, the five-piece have in no way abandoned their metalcore roots, as there are certainly more than enough chugs and growls to appease longtime fans. Give it a listen after the break, and share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.

“This is the soundtrack of our existence as a band,” said vocalist Winston McCall. “Every step we have taken has been down a path chosen by no one but ourselves. We write the music we want to hear, we dress the way we want to dress, we look the way we want to look, we go where we want to go, and we play the shows we want to play. Our whole existence we have done things our way in the face of a chorus of voices and opinions telling us that it’s wrong and that we don’t belong. This is our answer, plain and simple.”
