Today, we’re linking up with fast-rising St. Louis four-piece New Lives to bring you “Choosers,” an uncompromising new single that’s certain to sit well with fans of Balance And Composure, Title Fight, and other like-minded acts. The track is taken from the outfit’s impending EP, Fade, which makes landfall on May 27 through Sunday Drive Records. Give it a spin after the break.
Speaking with UTG via email, the band shared:
“Musically, ‘Choosers’ is very dynamic and fits into the mold we’ve kind of created for ourselves. We really enjoy being loud and aggressive, but also like retaining quiet, atmospheric elements. Lyrically, the song is about watching people destroy themselves and initially feeling compassion. But, because you watch this on an almost daily basis, that initial compassion starts eroding into insensitivity.”
If you dig “Choosers,” you can pre-order Fade here in a number of different formats.
