Sometimes things around the site get a little out of hand and features get left behind when they really deserve to be posted. Today’s UTG TV, as well as the other “vault” features we will be releasing in coming weeks, is that kind of article. Shot last year during their first performance ever, UTG TV is proud to present two 1080p recordings of T.R.A.M.
There really are no words to define the sound of Sumerian Records’ T.R.A.M., but “groundbreaking” and “artistic” would not be far off. Comprised of Adrian Terrazas (The Mars Volta) on saxophone, flute, bass clarinet and percussion, Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders) on guitars, Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) on guitars and Eric Moore (Suicidal Tendencies) on drums, this collaborative effort was formed solely as a means to further showcase how skilled these musical masters are at their craft. We were on hand at SXSW 2011 to see them debut and could not be more excited to share two songs from that concert with you today. Click past the jump for the clips!
T.R.A.M. will release their debut album, Lingua Franca, on February 28. Click here to pre-order your copy.
