Green Day have a triple-disc album coming out this Fall and I am officially terrified to hear it.
Just this afternoon, a brand new song surfaced from the pop punk pioneers and, to say the least, our staff was disappointed. The track is called “Kill The DJ” and it features a monotonous hook packed with so little energy you might find yourself yawning before the second verse even begins. Click past the jump, approach with caution, and be sure to leave your mouse on the mute button in case your mind begins to explode from the ludicrous notion such an accomplished artist would feel pushed to release something so damn boring.
If this is what we can expect from ¡UNO! ¡DOS! ¡TRE!, count me out.
