Over the past several years, NBC’s The Voice has been working hard to take the crown of top televised talent search program. We think they are succeeding.

In seasons past, we’ve seen many the great singer both new and old. One thing we’ve learned from watching the program is that experience matters. We’ve watched Dia Frampton of sister duo Meg & Dia perform well as well as Juliet Simms of the Automatic Loveletter. Both of these girls come from an experienced background in performing and touring and used the lessons they learned on the road to excel in the competition.

This year we have two more familiar faces. They are Joe Kirkland of Artist Vs. Poet and Cassadee Pope of Hey Monday. Each have struck out on their own to build a name for themselves and their acts. We’ve seen the performance that got Joe onto coach Adam Levine (Maroon 5)’s team. Now we have the chance to see Cass’ performance which aired this evening.
