I didn’t make that up. I may wish I made it up, but I’m not making this up. R. Kelly is planning to release eighty five more episodes of “Trapped In The Closet”. There’s only been twenty two chapters thus far, and it’s already more ridiculous than your standard soap opera affair; there also hasn’t been a new entry in the series since 2007.

The series had a screening in New York City last night, where R. Kelly told SPIN that he has been working on this for the entirety for those five years and that the series may even go to Broadway. “I don’t have a job, so I sit in the studio all day and think of something stupid to do.” We’ll keep an eye out for how the series plays out from here; supposedly, it’s going to be more musically adventurous, and who knows how ridiculous the plot will become considering we’re apparently about a quarter of the way through it.
