One of the biggest fears a traveling musician must face is not the critical acceptance of their work by a given audience, but rather the actual act of traveling.
After landing in London early this morning, The Summer Set entered a transport vehicle that would take them to their next destination, if not for an interception by a semi, barreling upon them.
According to members of the band, they were struck by the semi after being in London for about an hour. Drummer Jess Bowen was hit in the head by a pole. Singer Brian Dales hit his own head on the window. Each say that nobody was critically hurt and that they were very lucky.
After the incident, a nearby church took the band members in while arrangements were made. Here are some tweets detailing the event.
