Taking Back Sunday frontman Adam Lazzara premiered a solo track entitled “Because It Works” earlier today via Fuse. You can catch it in full at the bottom of this post.

The song, which is uncharacteristically folk-based but no less catchy and enjoyable, will be featured on the Our Voices EP, a soon-to-be-released compilation from I Surrender Records which will showcase a collection of original songs performed by a number of notable frontmen, including Bayside’s Anthony Raneri and Saves the Day’s Chris Conley.

“The bare bones for this song were written while I was living in Texas but it didn’t come together until I got the offer to be on Our Voices. ‘Because It Works’ is as honest as can be and marks, hopefully, the first of many more to come,” Lazzara told Fuse.
